The latest version of the Land Rover DC100 concept has been unveiled ahead of its debut at tomorrow's New York Auto Show.

The Land Rover DC100 Expedition is the most rugged interpretation of the concept that previews the next-generation Defender yet.

Land Rover boss John Edwards has previously said he wants to show off the traditional Defender "abusability" on the new DC100, and the New York show car would appear to be in response to that.

The Expedition sports a new White and orange paint job, and rugged features including a winch, snorkel, a roof rack, bull bar, more pronounced towing eyes, greater amounts of black trim and beefier 275/55 Cooper tyres with five-spoke black alloys.

It follows several different versions of the DC100 concept since the Frankfurt motor show last September. As well as Frankfurt, versions have appeared in Dubai, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Delhi and now New York as Land Rover gathers live feedback into how it should evolve the next-generation Defender, due in 2015.

Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept Caught On The Streets Of London

Diposting oleh Unknown on Senin, 27 Februari 2012

The Range Rover Evoque Convertible Concept is set to make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6th, but an English car spotter spied the concept yesterday morning in London near the Tower Bridge.

One thing is certain from these pictures, the topless Rover doesn't look any less strange in the real world than it does in the pictures we've seen ahead of the official unveil.
Commenting on the concept model, Land Rover Design Director, Gerry McGovern said: "The Evoque lends itself beautifully to the idea of a convertible. This study is not a traditional convertible design execution - instead we have worked with the balance of the Evoque's lines to retain its distinctive shape and create something that is unique and, we believe, highly desirable."

The study is based on the three-door Evoque and can seat four passengers. It features an electrically operated cloth top with the roof mechanism stowed neatly below the belt-line and also comes equipped with a Roll Over Protection System [ROPS].
