Video: Glympse and Ford team up to offer location-sharing service for SYNC

At the 2013 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas FoMoCo and Glypmse unveiled what they call the first location-sharing app for Ford’s SYNC connectivity system. Using the AppLink system, users of Sync and Glypmse will now be able to share their location with family and friends directly from their car using voice commands.

Woman Crashes Ex's Ford Into a Bowling Alley After He Changed his Facebook Status to Single!

Have you ever heard the quote by William Congreve, "Heaven has no rage like love to hatred turned, nor hell a fury like a woman scorned"?

Welcome to the scary world of Davy Jones who saw his former girlfriend, Claire Holley, 31, driving his Ford Focus hatchback into the bowling alley where he worked after he changed his Facebook status to single!

A security camera recorded the incident showing Holley crashing the Focus into the Hollywood Bowl in Middlebrook, UK, stopping right in front of the reception desk. The incident took place on January 25th this year.

The BBC reported that according to the court documents, the woman was "heartbroken and crushed" after Jones changed his Facebook status to single and that she had tried multiple times to come in contact with him to ask for a reconciliation but to no avail as the man had turned off his mobile phone.

She then drunk half a bottle of wine and two large vodkas and took Jone's Ford Focus down or rather, in the bowling alley. Miraculously, no one was injured, though she did cause £14,000 (US$22,300 or €17,000) of damage.

Holley received a suspended prison sentence from the Bolton Crown Court.

Ford Mustang Drifts In cement median and Peugeot 107

Did the driver of this modded, fifth gen Ford Mustang attempt to drift on purpose or did he simply enter the turn a bit too fast and lost control of the car? Who knows.

The end result is that he (or she, we can't be sure) slid right over the cement median and crashed into a Peugeot 107 on the other side of the road. Bet the Peugeot driver didn't see this coming.

And if you haven't figured it out already from the dashcam-mounted camera, this accident took place in mother Russia.

Ford SVT Raptor with... six doors?! Only in the UAE

The United Arab Emirates is a land that continually breathes new life into the phrase "More money than sense." The new prime example of this is a custom-built Ford SVT Raptor that believes the prime number of doors is six. Said to hail from the UAE, it's quite clear that anything goes in the Land Of The Burning Dollar Sign Sun.

We're not going to completely hate on this thing, of course, as the idea of a six-door Raptor puts visions of a seriously great camping trip in mind. Still, we're not even sure if this thing is actually real or if someone with solid skills spent too much time playing around on their computer.
